I originally started track & field coaching to help my
children in the 'Little A' athletics. I soon found that coaching
can became a consuming passion.
I have been fortunate in that I have
been continuously encouraged by parents, athletes, associations and clubs to
continue as a coach.
The opportunities I have had has
allowed me to expand my knowledge and abilities as a coach. This
has in turn enabled me to provide a better service to
those I coach. In 2009 the ATFCA presented me with a
Merit Award for services to coaching in Queensland.
If you are ever looking for inspirational quotes you can go no
further than to borrow a quote from great
US NFL coach
Vinci Lombardi
who said, "Winning isn't
everything, but wanting to win is".
